Tonight, i just wanna blog about a burglary that happen to my dear friend, mother of the child that i'm carrying in my previous blog entry. i just got to know about it on Sunday when she invited me to her precious little boy's birthday celebration together with her dad's birthday. the food was awesome and i actually had an incredible night as i know by next week i would not be in Ipoh anymore... Sobz..... again, let's put that aside first...

She was all alone in the house at the time of the burglary... Even on that day, the baby boy, Daniel followed his dad and grandmother for the grandmother's check-up as my dear friend on that day was not feeling very well and she was on medication. The medication causes her a bit of drowsiness & she fell asleep for a lil while. However, the moment she open her eyes, her attention was brought to the door which was not closed. Usually, upon waking up, the door is not the first thing she look at, but that particular day, her attention was shifted to the door and right when she look at the door, frighteningly she saw a fleeting shadow passes. When she saw it, she knows something was not right & someone has
gotten into the house. She quickly stood up and went towards the door
to shut the door quietly. I believe it was quite scary for her. Why? For me to hear, my heart skipped a beat. Gosh!!! Let's pause here for a lil while. Tell me, if u are a burglar, which room would you try/choose to enter first in the house? Guest room ??? It doesn't make sense right??? That's what exactly the burglar did. Enter all the rooms in the house except the master bedroom.
Thank God that particular day, she has her handphone with her, which
she usually do not have it with her. Usually, the phone would be
downstair and she would be upstairs. Thus, quietly she called her
husband to let him know that someone is inside the house and the
husband rush home as soon as possible together with the mother. The
husband went down the car while the mother sit in the car as i believe
it is quite dangerous for the mother to go with him into the house. So,
the mother waited quietly in the car.
Let me provide a view for you to imagine. The burglar enter the house from the roof-top. It's a 3 Storey House/2 &1/2 Storey and i guess its the house design actually has given ways for the burglar to climb up to reach the balcony and enter through the roof area. So, immediately coming down the stairs, the Master Bedroom is on your left, and there's another two room on the same floor which is nearby the master bedroom. However, it is a miracle that God has proved because the burglar who enters the house coming down from the top floor would have missed the most valueable room in the house. The door previously was open, and when my dear friend closed it, the burglar DID NOT notice it at all. That's what actually first came to my mind when the person who told me this story. Some might disagree and some might agree. Here, i just wanna say what's on my mind. I believe it was the power of God to do the impossible was at work. I actually think that the burglar totally did not notice there was a room on his left when he came down the stairs. The burglar would have only see white walls along the corridor. His eyes probably was blinded by God the fact that the master bedroom is actually there but all he sees was the blank blank white wall..
Let's continue... The moment the husband arrives, he shouted "gao meng ah, gao meng ah" meaning "help, help." Trust me, the husband voice would be loud enough for the whole row of house to be heard, as there's only 4 houses in that particular row. I guess the shout startled the burglar and there'a actually a bunch of keys in the kitchen and the burglar tried to escape through the kitchen at the back, however, poor burglar, the dog named 'Fluffy' is at the back & i guess it gave him a shock when he opened the door

& he immediately ran back upstairs and escape the same way he climbed in. Remember the mother who was sitting in the car or probably came out standing beside the car? She saw the burglar climbing down from the house through the balcony like "spiderman." I thought that was it, the story which was terrifying... BUT, the mother who witnessed the burglar becoming "spiderman" adds a lil information to it which sent a chill down my spine & to drive home was a scary journey as it causes me to recap the story... The burglar came down like a "spiderman" TOGETHER WITH 'PARANG'!!!!! Actually, thankfully that baby Daniel is not in the house... You know why? What if the baby cry or make noise?? That could seriously put both the mother and the baby in danger!!!!!! That's why thankfully, the husband took the baby as well.. Oh, to continue, the funny part is that the burglar even had a drink in the house.. While escaping, it is believed that he injured himself as there were found to have blood stains on the floor...
It's really frightening for my dear friend or jie-jie as i always call her name ending with jie-jie despite her being married... All this must have happen under the protection of the Lord... If not, no one knows what might happen. God is really protecting the safety of my dear friend...

To end the story, a quote from the Bible : Isaiah 41:10
Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will
strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My
righteous right hand.’ Indeed, never fear of anything when you have God by your side. Trust in Him & He's always there even without you knowing that His angels are always there to protect you and keep you safe... Trust me.. Oh, no, no, no... TRUST GOD!! =)
good night everyone,
Jen
